Carmen Ochoa-Galindo is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who joined the PCC behavioral health care team in 2016. She earned her Master of Arts in Psychology from National Louis University in 2008 and a Doctor of Education from Argosy University in 2013. She completed a clinical internship at the Family Shelter Service in Wheaton, IL. Carmen has over 10 years of experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Prior to counseling, she taught English as a Second Language in Mexico for two years. She currently teaches undergraduate psychology courses at St. Xavier University. Carmen is certified in domestic violence and sexual assault. She is also fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, Carmen enjoys soccer, music, karaoke, yoga, and playing with her three dogs.
