Dr. Kim obtained his medical education from Northwestern University – Feinberg School of Medicine in 2009 and his Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2015. He completed residency at Lawrence Family Medicine Residency in Lawrence, MA. Dr. Kim also completed an obstetrics fellowship at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, MA (2013); a Community Health Leadership fellowship at Kraft Center for Community Health in Lynn, MA (2015); and Faculty Development fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX (2016). He has received several honors. In 2008, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Four years later, he received the Outstanding Teaching Resident Award from the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency. He was later honored by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine as the 2016 Emerging Leader Fellow. Dr. Kim’s passion for medicine has motivated him to co-host a podcast on primary care innovation called “Review of Systems” and contribute to the Policy Prescriptions’ health policy blog. In addition to English, Dr. Kim speaks Spanish and Korean. In his leisure time, he enjoys running, hiking, backpacking, and traveling.
