Dr. Daniel Parecki earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He is completing his residency at PCC, as part of the West Suburban Medical Center – Family Medicine Residency Program. His areas of interest include global health, underserved medicine, women’s health and obstetrics, and public health. With an interest in underserved populations, he completed a community based research project in conjunction with Viva La Familia on the efficacy of a student run health education class in changing health ideology and literacy in the Humboldt Park community. Before attending medical school, Dr. Parecki taught math at a high school in Guatemala. Outside of medicine, he enjoys classical opera, piano, cooking, and exploring new cities in the U.S. and abroad. He also loves to be in nature, and frequently seeks out camping, hiking, and running adventures.
