Carlos Cantu is a behavioral health consultant who joined PCC in 2015. Fluent in Spanish, he completed his undergraduate studies at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí Mex in México, where he was also licensed as a clinical psychologist. He later obtained a Master in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2006. Carlos completed clinical internships at UIC Family Clinic and Cicero Family Clinic to help families and children with developmental disorders. He was awarded the McNeil Scholarship as a Latino committed to serving in Latino communities. Also, he is passionate about housing issues, particularly in helping to reduce homelessness.
