Specializing in family medicine, Dr. Franco joined PCC in 2014. After obtaining his medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago in 2014, he completed his residency at Northwestern University – McGaw Medical Center. As a National Health Service Corps member, he is passionate about caring for patients in underserved communities. He has been honored with the Northwestern Teaching Award M2 Individual Preceptorship. Before joining PCC in 2014, Dr. Franco obtained a master’s degree in neuroscience and worked as a researcher. In addition to family medicine, he has a keen interest in addiction medicine, sports medicine, psychiatry, and the treatment of Hepatitis C. Also, Dr. Franco is licensed to provide Suboxone to patients addicted to opiates. He speaks Spanish and enjoys running marathons in his spare time.
