Born in Colombia, Dr. Villate moved to the United States with her family at the age of 15. In addition to her MD, she has also earned her Master of Public Health from St. George’s University. Being an immigrant herself, her desire is to work in a setting that allows her to have an impact on the health of the immigrant communities.
Brooklyn born, Dr. Chow comes to the Windy City after graduation from St. George’s University in 2016. He speaks both Chinese and Japanese. Prior to medical school, he worked as an EMT in Jamaica Queens, NY.
Hailing from Michigan, Dr. Mammo graduated from St. Georges University. He is fluent in Syriac, a language second only to Greek and Latin in terms of its significance to early Christian writings. Notably, colleagues often remard on Dr. Mammo’s heart and dedication to service within the community.
Dr. Patel grew up in Iowa, but attended medical school in China at the Zhejiang University School of Medicine. She speaks both Mandarin and Spanish and has been working as a consultant with the World Health Organization overseeing projects in Sierra Leone.
A graduate of Ross University in 2014, Dr. Salama has distinguished himself through quality and process improvement coordination at Norwegian American Hospital. He is fluent in Arabic and paid his way through medical school working as an auto mechanic.
A native of Mount Prospect, Dr. Shah graduated from St. George’s University in 2016 and holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology. He speaks Spanish and has extensive experience working with populations at risk, particularly the aged and developmentally disadvantaged.
Kristen Richter is a certified advanced nurse practitioner who completed her nursing education at the University of Illinois at Chicago – College of Nursing in 2015.
Dr. Rastetter is a family medicine physician who joined the PCC health care team in 2009. He serves as the Medical Director at PCC West Town Family Health Center. Dr. Rastetter earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine in 2006
